Storefront

Identify your shop and retrieve the customer-facing product catalog.

Identify the shop

Requests under /api/store/* use a publishable key beginning with pk_sf_. Create and rotate this key through the shop's public API settings.

bash
curl "$SELLFORGE_STORE_URL/api/store/products" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SELLFORGE_PUBLIC_KEY"

The key identifies the tenant. Origin restrictions, when configured, are checked in addition to the key. Configure the domains your actual storefront uses.

Read the public catalog

GET /api/store/products returns a products array.

The listing applies shop and publication rules and resolves the current sales channel. Products must be listed and visible in that channel to appear. A product being visible to an administrator does not by itself make it visible to customers.

If a product appears in the admin but not in the storefront, check:

  1. You are using the publishable key for the intended shop.
  2. The product is published and sellable.
  3. The storefront resolves to the intended channel.
  4. The product is listed and visible in that channel.

Use the correct backend

The public shop backend exposes the /api/store route family. The shop-admin backend exposes only selected storefront routes, so its host is not a general substitute for the shop API URL.

The storefront listing does not use the same pagination envelope as the administrative product list. Use Products when building an authenticated catalog administration or export integration.

Continue to checkout

Use product and variant IDs from your shop's catalog to create a checkout session. Prices and final totals are calculated by the server.
